Cookie Cutter Patterns: Easy Art Project for Kids

Creating art does not always have to involve a big mess or a lot of time. Here is an easy art project for kids that involves two materials you most likely already have…cookie cutters and markers! This project requires a steady hand but is a great way to further develop fine motor control in kids through repetition and pattern.

Easy Art Project for KidsPattern is an element that is repeated in a reoccurring arrangement (like red, blue, yellow, red, blue, yellow) Repetition is one object that is repeated. In this project your child will be repeating the cookie cutter shape (repetition) while creating a pattern with a selected group of colors.
