Have you seen all the different and cute types of washi tape? We have a quick and easy tutorial for you to make your own washi tape. Why make your own? By making your own diy washi tape, you can customize and color match your tape for whatever you may need it for (also the cost is pretty cheap)! Read below for our 5 easy steps to make your own.
Materials:
Masking Tape
Plastic Flexible Cutting Board
Acrylic Paint
Permanent Markers
Tutorial:
Step 1: Cut desired length of masking tape and lay flat on plastic cutting map.
Step 2: Paint the masking tape. Let dry.
Step 3: Once the paint has dried, draw your details or pattern with a permanent marker.
Step 4: Peel the tape off the plastic mat.
Step 5: Place the tape wherever you wish to add some fun color and pattern!
We had fun dressing up notebooks, gift bags and envelopes.
