Play dough mats make it really easy to encourage creative thinking and develop fine motor skills.
To use a play dough mat, download and print. I recommend laminating or sliding the mat in a clear sheet protector so you are able to reuse the mat.
You also could use these same mats as a drawing prompt too! You can still reuse by drawing with a dry erase marker on the laminated mat.
Easter Play Dough Mats
I created two different Easter Play Dough Mats for Lil B’s Easter party at school.
For the basket play dough mat, we rolled a die and then created the correct corresponding number of play dough eggs to fill the basket. You can roll again to either add or subtract more eggs.
For the egg play dough mat, I provided extra pipe cleaners, craft sticks and beads for an open-ended process art play dough activity.
There is no wrong way to use the mats. Let your child be creative!
