I was at the Dollar store and saw the foam sheet shamrocks. I knew for a dollar it would be a worthwhile investment but I didn’t know what I would make. After leaving the store, I was putting my two-year-old in her car seat and saw her sunglasses laying on the seat.
Instant inspiration!
Materials:
Sunglasses
Foam Sheet Shamrocks
Tape or Glue
Tutorial:
Step 1: Find a pair of sunglasses
Step 2: Fold shamrocks in half and cut a half circle along the fold.
Step 3: Tape or Glue shamrocks to sunglasses. We used tape as this was a fun project for the moment. We were not looking for them to be sturdy or last very long. If you are making them to wear out I suggest gluing on a pair of old sunglasses.
Step 4: Take lots of selfies of you (or your kids) wearing the glasses.
