As we were playing outside enjoying the wonderful summer weather we came up with this easy (and sort of last minute) father’s day gift. If you are really last minute, scroll to the bottom to download and print our DAD photo.
Materials:
Sunny day
Computer
Printer
Tutorial:
Step 1: Have your child hold up their arms above their head and photograph your child’s shadow.
Step 2: On the computer use photo editing software to add in your Father’s Day message. We kept is simple with adding the word “DAD”. We used picmonkey for our photo editing software (it’s free)!
In picmonkey, I also changed the transparency of the color of the letters to give it a “see through” transparent look.
Step 3: Print and frame!
