We had the opportunity to review the new crafty awesomeness that is Happy Handmade. A new ebook that is a collection of crafty handiness from 18 craft bloggers.
This ebook is one of the best designed ones I have seen in awhile. With bold photographs and bright colors this book makes it easy (and fun) to follow along with the step by step directions.
Disclosure: We were provided a copy of the ebook in exchange for our own reviews. All opinions are our own.
What I love is that you do not need fancy or expensive materials to complete the craft projects. Many of the project materials are items from around the house like the cardboard tube space rocket below or the shoebox dollhouse pictured above.
One project we will be making is from one of our favorite crafty bloggers, Leslie Manlapig from Pink Stripey Socks. Check out her easy ship in a bottle craft below. Lil B’ is so curious to try to fit a ship in a bottle.
Take a peek at a few more craft projects the ebook includes:
We did give the sock puppet tutorial a try. The easy to follow project tutorial had inspiring ideas on accessories and finishing details to make it a creative work of art instead of a sock! We had an afternoon of creative fun playing with our newly designed puppets.

They had so much fun giving the puppet a “hair cut”. Lol!
