According to the World Economic Forum, creativity will be the third-most-important skill for employees.
“With the avalanche of new products, new technologies, and new ways of working, workers are going to have to become more creative in order to benefit from these changes.”
Our children will grow up to solve future world problems. In order to do so, they need to be innovative thinkers and creative problem solvers.
But schools are teaching our children the skills of the past, it doesn’t matter the latest tech app or coding program. But rather our children need to know the steps on how to solve a problem and how to find answers and create out-of-the-box solutions.
What is an Innovation Challenge?
An Innovation Challenge is a creative thinking prompt that encourages kids to think, make and create their own unique solutions.
Our current education system was designed over 100 years ago for an industrial society but we aren’t living in an industrial age anymore we are living in an innovative age.
We want to help create better learning experiences for students today.
Create learning experiences that are passion-led, curiosity-driven that inspire your child and ignites their desire to learn new things.
But how do you get started?
How do you move learners from being compliant learners to being innovative thinkers?
One easy way you can get started is with Innovation Challenges.
These creative prompts give your learner a starting point to start innovating and creating their own unique solutions. But keep in mind, that these are open-ended prompts meaning, there is no right or wrong way to solve the challenge. The emphasis is on the process or journey of creating rather than what the final outcome looks like.
There is no right or wrong answer it’s about creating your own unique solution! 🙌
To create your solution to the challenge you may draw it, build it, or write it!
