Recycle magazine pages into an easy paper craft by creating your own monogrammed letter. A great way to personalize a piece of art. In this tutorial I am sharing one of my favorite collaging techniques. It is a simple way to create color and visual texture in your artwork. Read below for the tutorial.
Materials:
Magazine
Scissors
Glue
White Paper
Colored Paper
Computer
Printer
Tutorial:
Step 1: Tear out pages from a magazine.

Step 2: Cut the magazine pages into strips.

Step 3: Glue the strips onto the white paper. Let dry.

Step 4: On the computer, select a letter and decide on a font (we used Georgia). Print out your letter on 8.5 x 11 printer paper.
Step 5: Place the letter on top of your collage and cut along the outline of the letter.

Step 6: Glue your collaged letter onto colored paper for the background.
