Printmaking Made Easy

It is week 2 in our Hand Made Summer Fun series. Last week was all about celebrating the start of summer and this week we are all about bubbles!

For Masterpiece Monday, we are printmaking with bubble wrap! We will show you two easy ways you can print with bubble wrap.

Bubble Wrap

Rolling Pin

Paint (We used washable tempera)

Cookie Sheet

Large roll of craft paper (We found ours at the Dollar Store)

tape

Tutorial:

Step 1: Wrap the rolling pin with bubble wrap and secure with tape. Cut a large piece of craft paper and lay on your work surface.

Step 2: Squirt paint on cookie tray

Step 3: Roll the pin in the paint.

Step 4: Roll pin on your paper creating your print.

Stamp It

Easy Printmaking

Materials:

Cardboard Tube

Bubble Wrap

Rubber band (or tape)

Piece of paper

Tutorial:

Step 1: Cut a piece of bubble wrap. Secure over the end of your cardboard tube with rubberband. If you don’t have a rubberband like we did you can use tape to secure it to the tube.

Step 2: Dip in paint and stamp on your paper.

We also used this technique to create snow!

What is your favorite way to make a print?
