Easiest DIY Smoothie Popsicle

Today for our Hand Made Summer Fun series, we are cooling off from our summer celebration in the kitchen. My kids love smoothies. We have been drinking green smoothies for over a year and they love them. Lil B enjoys creating his own smoothie blends. He has agreed to share his berry smoothie recipe, one of his favorites.

We decided to turn our leftover smoothie drink into popsicles.  While you can purchase fancy popsicle making supplies and molds we used basic household materials to create ours. Read below for the tutorial.

DIY Smoothie Popsicle

Lil B’s Berry Berry Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients

Coconut Water– about 2 cups, more if you want it “liquidy” less water if you want it “chunky” (Lil B’s descriptive words)

Greens– We used Spinach, Kale and Swiss Chard (however, Lil B is a hard core green smoothie fan…if you are just starting your green smoothie journey I reccomend starting with Spinach)

Frozen Mixed Berries – Our mix included strawberries, blueberries and raspberries

Step 1: Blend ingredients.

Blending Tip: Mix the greens and water first and then add the fruit and blend.

Step 2: Enjoy your smoothie and save some for the popsicles. Scroll below for our diy popsicle tutorial

DIY Smoothie PopsicleTutorial for DIY Popsicle:
