Take Flight in an Easy Art Project

Looking for an easy but fun art project? This week in our Hand Made Summer Fun series, we are blasting off into the sky. We are talking about everything that flies. I asked M-Woww what would help her fly high in the sky, she answered with balloons. So read below for our step by step tutorial for this easy art project making M-Woww fly high in the sky with balloons.

Easy Art Projects

Materials

Construction Paper, Tissue Paper,  Digital Camera or Cell Phone Camera, Printer,  Glue (mixed with 2:1 parts to water) Foam Brush, and Black Permanent Marker

Tutorial:

Step 1: Have your child lay down on the floor and tell them to stretch out with their arms above their head. Take a photo.

Step 2: Print out photo and cut child out of the photo.

Step 3: Gather your tissue paper and decide how you want to lay out all the materials for your project. We used white tissue paper for the clouds and rainbow colors for the balloons.

Step 4: Use the brush to apply your mixture of glue on top of the tissue paper adhering it to the construction paper.

Step 5: Let the glue dry. Once the paper is completely dry, use a black permanent marker to add details like the string for the balloons or city buildings in the background. fly_high_collage-1 Easy Art Project

Thank you! My daughter had fun creating it and she got a real kick that it was her flying in the picture.
